A parlay is a single bet that links together two or more wagers for a payout that is high. A two team parlay may pay 13/5, a three team parlay could pay 6/1, a four team parlay could pay 10/1, and so forth together with the payouts becoming higher with more teams or totals selected. To get a single bet, 2 to 8 teams or totals can be chosen.
For the parlay wager to win, every one of the wagers must triumph or push (tie). Your bet loses, regardless of the result or cancellation of those other games if any of the selections drop. If one or more selections is a tie, postponed, cancelled imperfect or rescheduled for a different day, then the bet reverts to the next lowest amount. For example, if you put a 5 team and have a tie and 4 winners, your wager pays out as a 4 team parlay. If you place one team wins and a 2 team parlay and one ties, the wager becomes a straight wager.
The consequent bet will have the exact same risk amount with the win being calculated to reflect the likelihood of the rest of the group (Example: On a two team $100 parlay using team A +110 and team B -110 if A B and ties wins the consequent wager will be a straight play on B exceeding $100 to win $91).
